Bulletin Announcements for March 4th
This week we will are being joined by Rev. Shane Adams and his wife Treva. They are ministering with Chi Alpha on the campus of UMass Amherst.
The ice cream social at the Soldiers' Home was a great success. We had a wonderful crowd that came to enjoy ice cream sundaes and sing some hymns. The residents that came were very blessed. We also had one of the men that came to the social who came to our bible study last Thursday. Praise the Lord! Please pray for those we minister to at the Soldiers' Home.
Our home based prayer meetings continue. We had a wonderful time of fellowship and prayer together. This week we will be meeting at Gary & Sharon Brueno's home. They are at 111 Fenway Drive in Springfield. There are maps on the table in the foyer or you can see Pastor of the Bruenos for directions.
The Holyoke Food Drive sponsored by the Mayor's Peace Initiative will be the week of March 12th. Please bring non-perishable food items to donate. This is a great opportunity for us to be a blessing to the people of the city who are in need.
The District office has agreed to help us with the purchase of a new laptop computer. They have asked that we come up with 1/3 of the cost of the new machine and they will cover 2/3. We need about $350. Please be praying about what the Lord would have you do!
